Suzuki GSX-R1000, powerful new engine
Journalists from around the world converged on Eastern Creek Raceway today to ride the all-new 2005 Suzuki GSX-R1000 for the very first time.
The day began with an extensive technical briefing on the new machine highlighting the impressive new technology, specifications and aggressive styling of the 2005 GSX-R1000. Once the technical briefing was completed, journalists were presented with a fleet of gleaming new GSX-R1000’s to ride.
Riders were on the circuit in no time and after the first full day of riding it was clear that the initial riding impressions of the new GSX-R1000 were extremely positive. Journalists praised the powerful new engine, the compact and agile new chassis, the extremely effective back torque limiter and the remarkable Bridgestone tires.
